Norma McCorvey, the plaintiff who was identified as “Jane Roe” in the landmark Roe v. Wade case, was arrested in Washington on July 13 when she disrupted Senate hearings on the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. McCorvey, who has become a pro-life activist, was one of several demonstrators who shouted that the Supreme Court should protect the unborn.
