A Blessing Prayer For All Fathers

O God the Father; Creator of all Life,

Lifespring of all Fathers and Mothers,

you who chose Joseph to be the Spouse

of Mary and Foster Father to your Divine Son,

bless now with your love and protection all Fathers,

that they may treasure all lives of the children entrusted to them.

O God the Son, Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer;

you who learned from your own Foster Father;

and cared for him till death,

bless my own Father, he who gave me the great gift of life,

that I may continue to be a loving and faithful child.

O God the Holy Spirit,

you who continue to gift the Church with

the care and protection of Saint Joseph,

bless all who have had a father’s influence on my own life;

bless all those close to me who are fathers;

bless all those who are expectant fathers.
